Need to Know: Proposing at the Neon Museum | Las Vegas proposal Photographer

It’s time for a romantic double proposal at the Neon Museum! The Neon Museum is always a hit for sessions of every kind because there are so many nooks and crannies we can find to make your photos unique.

If you’re planning a session at the Neon Museum, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • You will have to book the location and a private "photo hour” which can be at Golden Hour (just before sunset) or after dark to really get the Neon Experience(TM) (I made that up — don’t be mad Neon Museum!)

  • You can choose the Neon Boneyard or the North Gallery depending on the time of day you want for your session; the Boneyard is available during the daytime and evening while the museum is not open, and the North Gallery is typically available until an hour after sunset.

  • There is a dress code! Like any other museum, clothing and poses must be appropriate in a family environment (yes, even if you book a private session). While I’ve never had any issues with my couples’ outfits, hit me up if you’re worried about that fabulous outfit you love showing too much skin!

  • Every guest we bring along is required to have a ticket to enter, and guest count is limited to 15 (this doesn’t apply to weddings and elopements, which I’ll do a separate post on soon!)

Sarah and Jacqueline’s proposal at the Neon Museum was definitely one they had taken great care to make perfect for each other. Their rings were perfect complements (seriously ob-SESSED with their rings) and Sarah carried both of them knowing that Jacky wanted to propose right back to her after Sarah surprised her with a proposal first. It’s becoming much more common for couples to discuss and even plan the details of their proposal, from picking out the ring together to creating a list of “must-haves” or dream locations. I love this trend because it means your partner is sure to be thrilled with the entire proposal!

Are you planning to propose at the Neon Museum soon? Let’s discuss all the details!
