5 Tips For A Great Proposal | Las Vegas Proposal Photographer
Hey friends! If a proposal is on your list of “things to do in 2025,” there’s so much to know before the big moment itself. This is a HUGE moment that carries so much weight, so trust me when I say to read ALLLL the things you can to help prepare. My top proposal tips are sure to make your plans go off without a hitch — or is it with a hitch, because the end goal is to get hitched… You know what I mean, okay?
Okay, enough chitchat I know I know — here’s my big list of Things to Know Before You Propose:
If you’re proposing in a hotel, you need to book a suite considering things like balconies and room size, AND request early check-in so we can get set up beforehand.
You also need to get the photographer/videographer added to the room without partner’s knowledge — find a way to call and clear them with staff before your arrival, or get a key to them yourself after letting the folks at the front desk know.
Outside of a hotel, be aware of crucial things like sunset times or anything that may be specific to your chosen location (like when the Bellagio fountains go off or whether you need to notify the venue of your plans). You can NEVER have too many of these details!
If you want a rooftop view of Vegas, be prepared to shell out some cash for it! It’s a beautiful skyline and well worth it, but having to remove it from your plan because of unexpected cost can be so disappointing.
In case you didn’t know, I offer four proposal packages that include everything you need to make your proposal one seriously snazzy ordeal. Check those out here! But, heads up: these don’t include any venue fees for your chosen location so keep that in mind!
I hope all this advice has been helpful for the big parts of planning your proposal — you’d be surprised what all goes into the moment! And when you trust a gal like me to capture your photos and guide you through this big moment, you can bet we’ll pull off a proposal worthy of a freakin’ award.
