Little White Chapel Vow Renewal
Can we talk about the most perfect vow renewal ever? Okay, let’s do it.
Julie got in touch with me a few months before their 15th wedding anniversary to figure out their incredibly fun photo session. We instantly clicked – tbh I think it’s the red hair thing – and I was beyond stoked to work with them.
Julie had decided that she and Dustin wanted to renew their vows at the world famous Little White Chapel on Las Vegas Boulevard. Originally, she was envisioning a sunset session, but after seeing some of my nighttime work, she changed up her entire plans to get the fun “Vegas after dark” vibe. We met up at the chapel where she was rocking a stunning black dress, and Dustin was looking as cool as ever in a blue suit with galaxy print hidden on the inside of the suit. They told me they had spent some time at the Chandelier bar in the Cosmo before heading to the chapel, and honestly, I think that’s why their photos were so fun and lively.
That secret drink at the Chandelier bar is no joke ;)
Before we worked together, Julie told me they had never booked a photographer before (even for their wedding), so they just wanted some photos to celebrate 15 years! She told me specifically, “We were engaged in about 3 months and it just keeps getting better.” Can you even believe.
The two were re-pronounced husband and wife after 15 beautiful years together, so we celebrated with some super joyful photos around Fremont Street.
One thing I really love about doing photo sessions along Fremont Street is how many people in the area pick up on the fact that you’re doing a photo session, and they automatically assume it has something to do with being married. Without a doubt, you will absolutely hear “congrats” shouted at you more times than you can count! And that’s just what happened with these two! Both locals and tourists alike love seeing couples from all over celebrating their love in the wedding capital of the world. It truly is what makes Las Vegas so special!
We boogied all along Fremont Street hitting the amazing spots along the way, and we found a cool cat jazz mural in a parking lot where we popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate!
These two hit the road to head to their dinner reservation, and I headed home to pack my bags to head to Ireland the next morning – but not before sending them some sneak peeks!
