All-Out Helicopter Proposal | Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour Proposal

It’s time for a surprise proposal from a man who is the epitome of “If he wanted to, he would.” Gabriel’s elaborate proposal was a perfect representation of the love he has for Wilnerys (and their little nugget on the way!). Proposals come in all shapes and sizes, and it’s all about making your proposal fit who you are as a couple. Not every partner wants an elaborate scene with fireworks and fanfare! Some want a romantic, low-key scene or recreating a funny memory. No matter what you do, make sure it matches YOU!

Grabiel kept the true reason for the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, photos, and pampering a secret up until we landed. He told her the photography was included in the helicopter package (oh, he booked the whole helicopter by the way) and that we were just doing some maternity photos at sunset in the freakin’ Grand Canyon. No biggie.

A big part of what made this proposal so special was how he took all the stress off her hands and put the focus on celebrating her and their baby on the way. He told her what to pack, what to wear, and not to worry about a thing. I'm swooning! To add to the surprise of the proposal, Wilnerys proposed first a few months ago so she wasn’t expecting it one bit! Gabriel repaid her in kind and went all out with this one. Competitive couples are so fun!

This entire session was a treat for my artistic soul. The Grand Canyon is unbelievably breathtaking and getting to photograph the incredible scenery from a helicopter was an experience I won’t soon forget. Since it was just after a hard rain (yay monsoon season!) the glittering river and moisture in the air made for a stellar sunset.
