Gondola Proposal at the Venetian | Las Vegas Canal Proposal
Listen — proposals are serious business. But like I always say: with great responsibility comes great decision paralysis! (or however the saying goes)
When you know you want to marry this person, you just know. All the details and stresses of life fade to nothing when you think about how complete your life is with your other half by your side day in and day out. But when it comes to ACTUALLY proposing, all those details are super important! So if you find yourself struggling to scheme and plot and build the ultimate proposal that your partner deserves, all the decisions can get seriously heavy.
Jacob came to me with this exact problem. He knew Martha was his exact match and his other half. Beyond that? He turned to me for help! I’ve been all over this city with couples of all stages, so here’s my advice:
if you and your partner have visited Las Vegas before, you most likely have a place that holds special significance. It may be a favorite restaurant or a secret spot you two discovered together. Regardless, if a place has special significance in your relationship, it will only be even more special if you propose there, too!
If you’re visiting Vegas for the first time or if a location didn’t jump to the front of your mind, there are so many places in the city to choose from! In front of the iconic Las Vegas sign, outside the historic El Cortez Hotel, in the middle of the strip surrounded by life and art and light — it’s really, really hard to go wrong! But Jacob’s original idea of proposing on a gondola at The Venetian is a classic proposal location for a reason!
Gondola rides are romantic as it is, but seeing these two cuddled up as their boat launched was so stinking sweet. Then Martha’s face when Jacob got down on one knee? Are you FREAKING kidding me?!
After their big moment, we had so much fun jigging around the Venetian, enjoying the architecture and capturing the sweetest photos of their love and joy with each other on full display.
