I Heart Neon Museum | Neon Museum Relocation
For today’s engagement session with Kristina and Andy, we visited the Neon Museum and strolled around the Boneyard. As a lover of all things Vegas, I freakin’ love this place! It’s an ENORMOUS collection of one of Vegas’s most iconic features throughout history: Neon signs! You seriously can’t even imagine the scale of these signs, let alone how much work goes into making them.
Can you believe that everything you can see here is only 35% of their full collection? That’s nuts! That fact, combined with the constant sold-out tours, is the reason that The Neon Museum is moving locations!
Their current two-and-a-quarter-acre location has been their home since 1996 and is fully outdoors, meaning tours and visits are subject to weather and capacity limits. The new spot, though? It will have more than 2 and a half times their current capacity!
A short distance away from their current location, the Neon Museum plans to move sometime in 2027 to the Arts District, where they’ll have two locations: one with 60,000 square feet of outdoor space and 47,000 square feet of indoor space, PLUS another 35,000 square foot space! The second location will feature a neon maker and education spaces as well as the Boneyard we all know and love.
The Neon Museum is one of my favorite photoshoot locations in Las Vegas because of the HUGE variety of looks we can get. There’s always room to run and play so we catch some killer candids, plus lots of historic Las Vegas signs to really embrace that “Vegas, baby!” feel!
I, for one, can’t wait to see the new locations and all the new things they’ll be offering, not to mention how awesome my photoshoots will be with all the never-before-seen pieces of their collection. If you want to book a session while they’re still at their OG location, you have plenty of time! Just hit me up!
