Mount Charleston Engagement Photos | Las Vegas Adventure Engagement

Let me tell you a story about how I met some of the most wonderful people ever.

One time, I photographed the wedding of a dear friend of mine. Zach and Marissa were married in 2019 in Missouri at a dreamy venue. One of their bridesmaids was the cute blonde gal named Sammy. She had been dating her boyfriend Zack for a few years by that point, and we vibed really well at the wedding.

Flash forward to January 2020, and Zack wanted to propose in Greece while they were there to celebrate Sammy’s masters graduation in May. Zack and I hatched a plan to conveniently have their favorite photographer (no brag) in position for the moment.

Then this little event happened in March 2020, and we had to switch gears.

So then August 2020 rolls around, and Zack and I have planned everything out to surprise Sammy on a hike. It goes off perfectly, and you can see those photos here.

The two set a date for June 2022, and we were rocking and rolling through their amazing wedding planning experience! First thing’s first – the engagement session! These two flew all the way out from Colorado to Vegas for their photos, and what better place to hold their session than the one mountain in Vegas that looks like it belongs in Colorado – Mount Charleston!

These two live for adventure, and it’s clear that their favorite adventure in life is each other. You can just tell from the way they look at each other that they truly were meant to be!

We really picked the perfect day for their session. It was slightly cloudy, so we didn’t get any sort of glowy sunset, but that also meant that no one was around to be in the background of their photos. When you have such a cute couple that shines as bright as these two, there’s really no need for a fancy sunset! Plus, that also meant that we easily avoided the Las Vegas summer heat!
