Clark County Wetlands Engagement Photos | Las Vegas Engagement Photographer
Shanel and Sarah are the sweetest sweeties that have ever sweeted.
Too much? Whatever. For real, these two are so joyful and so much fun to be around! Shanel first contacted me in early 2021 about doing a fun engagement session in the spring for these two, but Miss Rona had other plans. We finally got together in the summer, and I’m so glad we waited, because who knows if we would have had such a beautiful sunset otherwise!
Shanel and Sarah got engaged under the San Clemente Pier about two years into their relationship, but they had known each other for nine years total! They’re both the world’s best dog moms, and more than anything, they just love spending time together – which I think is pretty obvious in these photos.
Even though Vegas is known for being a desert, there’s actually so much greenery right over in the Clark County Wetlands Park! However, that does mean that mosquitoes exist, so don’t forget to bring bug spray when you visit.
These two want to elope in Colorado, so having a tree-filled background for their engagement photos just made sense! Sarah said that her parents are their role models for their relationship, so they’re hoping to be married on her parents’ anniversary. What a sweet way to honor the love that came before you!
Shanel had a quirky request – apparently she loves Crocs almost as much as she loves Sarah. And Sarah, being the best fiancée in the world, said, “Yes, dear.” And so we ended the session with some cute pride-themed Croc photos. I’m also obsessed with the different Croc vibes between the two of them. I think it really speaks to their personalities!
The things we do for the people we love, amiright?
