Lovers and Friends and Fiancees | Las Vegas LGBT Proposal
You know what time it is: SURPRISE PROPOSAL TIME! *beow be-be-be beow* Y’all ready for this?!
DANCE BREAK
Okay, okay, serious business now — I’m not out of breath, you’re out of breath!
Alright, for reals this time — let’s talk about Maya’s surprise proposal to Britt and how SNEAKY I got to be once again! With the help of Britt’s best friend, Maya planned to propose at a welcome dinner the night before the Lovers and Friends festival. She hired me to “capture pictures of attendees” (wink, wink) who were all friends and loved ones attending the festival for the first time ever. Being veterans to the festival themselves, Maya decided it was the perfect night to propose to their love!
Heartbreakingly, Vegas was hit with severe weather the next day and event organizers felt that cancelling the main event was in the best interest of safety for all those involved.
The big moment came when I pulled everyone up after dinner for a big group photo and had them say “Lovers and Friends!” and smile for my sneaky little camera. Then Maya got down on one knee and turned Lovers and Friends into Lovers, Friends, and Fiance(e)s!
What followed was a perfect moment of celebration between all these friends who share so many threads of life and love. My favorite thing about this session? How the genuine happiness between everybody at the event flowed through the night, from being together at the event itself, and as they celebrated the proposal. This is a group who is happy to be celebrating everyone they love!
Are you planning a surprise proposal? Hit me up and let’s plan the best proposal ever!
