Red Rock, Little White Chapel, and McDonald's, Oh My! | Las Vegas Elopement Session
Smitten. Absolutely and completely SMITTEN is how I would describe my feelings for Scott and Megan and their elopement. I mean, I guess they’re pretty crazy about each other, too, but I bet you a Big Mac that you can’t take ONE scroll through these photos and not be swooning over them too. Gah! They’re so cute.
Okay, okay. Back to my super-professional blog writing.
After helping each other get ready (and a quick Starbies run — thanks Scott!) we cruised over to Red Rock Canyon to trek through the desert for beautiful elopement photos against the massive rocks. These pictures were absolutely worth the taxing work of untangling weeds from Megan’s train several times (thanks a second time, Scott!)
These two lovebirds eloped on their eleventh anniversary after Scott proposed one year earlier on their tenth anniversary out in the snowy woods with “nothing but the sound of the branches creaking in the wind, and the crunch of the snow beneath our feet” (Awwww— Megan and Scott! Stop it! So romantic.)
Also, can I take a moment to gush over Megan’s hair? Talk about GLAM! And with those sly smiles of hers, she could have walked right out of the classic Elvis movie “Viva Las Vegas” and I just can’t get enough.
Megan and Scott are from Ontario, but really enjoy adventures in and out of Canada together, so when it came time to deciding where to elope they decided on the OG Las Vegas experience — being married by Elvis at the Little White Wedding Chapel! After their ceremony we hit a few classic Elvis poses with the man himself featuring a stellar finger gun from Scott (thankya, thankya very much, Scott!)
To make a perfect night even perfect-er (hush! I know that’s not right but it sounds cooler-er), we hit up McDonald’s for some late-night nuggies and a burger. Seriously, these two are so, so sweet and so, so in love. And I just love that.
I’ll have another, please!

Looking for a low-key elopement? You got it! After winning an engagement ring at an estate auction, Amy and Will eloped to Las Vegas! We romped around Seven Magic Mountains and Fremont Street around their low-key elopement ceremony at The Little White Wedding Chapel.
