Dreamy Mountaintop Couple's Session
This may be as close as Katie and Ed get to engagement photos, and I’m lucky I was able to document these moments for them. These two have had nothing short of a whirlwind relationship, having met on the Mizzou swim team, endured long distance early on in their relationship, adopted the sweetest pup together, moved around so many times, and finally buying a house in Colorado Springs. They’re busy, to say the least!
I was in Colorado for a wedding that Katie had actually referred to me (amongst a few others she had sent my way), so because she’s such a huge supporter of my work, she earned herself a free session! That’s right – referrals are that easy!
We started out on this beautiful overlook with Garden of the Gods in our background. Katie told me that she and Ed usually loved to take their dog on walks in this area, so this spot was a perfect place to start their session. We snuck our way over into the park for some natural beauty, and I basically just made these two snuggle for a while. Easy peasy!
Being a destination wedding photographer takes me everywhere, and I love getting to meet up with couples everywhere I go to document their different stages of life. For these two, they’re pretty much already engaged, and I know when the time comes to actually tie the knot, it’ll happen super quickly, and they’ll honestly probably have most of the details figured out before they even announce their date to the rest of the world. That’s how these two are! But we love to see it :)
Are you maybe thinking Colorado is too far for this Las Vegas wedding photographer to travel? Well, think again, cause I can be there in the blink of an eye! Get in touch so we can make some magic happen!
Destiny and Todd and I went on an adventure up to Mt. Charleston and boy what an adventure we had! Read about our day and the lovely area of Mt. Charleston.
