Seven Magic Mountains Engagement | Las Vegas Surprise Proposal
One of my favorite things about meeting with couples is hearing all about their story: how they met, their favorite things, and especially how they got engaged. But — OMG — this time I got to be part of the story!! Veronica surprised the HECK out of Anita with this proposal and I got to be a sneaky lil’ sneak to help her do it!
In a story that’s familiar to so many of us, Veronica and Anita met each other after long-term relationships that ended in heartbreak. After meeting at work, they found the Forever Brand (TM) of peace and love with each other and daydreamed about marriage, babies, and travels around the world. It didn’t take long for Veronica to know she wanted to propose!
Veronica remembered that Anita mentioned Vegas as a dream destination several times. So what did she do? Planned a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Anita’s birthday, of course! No other reasons. None at all.
Veronica had five surprises in total for this big birthday trip: First, the trip itself plus a tour of the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam. Second, a romantic dinner date with heartfelt gifts (anybody else getting a little jealous?). Third, a stretch limo that takes them to a lovely brunch after a tour of the city and endless mimosas. Fourth — that’s where I come in — Veronica told Anita that she scheduled a personal photoshoot at Seven Magic Mountains, where the vibrant, painted rocks stand as a symbol to Pride for so many.
And fifth? A little box that held an even smaller box, which held an even smaller, even more important ring! Veronica got down on one knee and proposed on Anita’s birthday trip! Holy shizballs (or holy moley) what a surprise!
I love proposals, I love love, and I love helping partners surprise their unsuspecting other halves for proposals like these! If you’re planning a sneaky proposal of your own, COUNT ME IN!
