Las Vegas Couple's Portraits | Nighttime Las Vegas Photos
There are many things to love about Las Vegas: the casinos, the entertainment, the sports, the beauty of the desert surrounding you. There’s truly something for everyone in our big, vibrant city. But you know what my favorite thing is? The way it comes to life after the sun sets! The strip lights up under the famous neon lights, transporting you to what feels like a completely different world outside space and time. The people, both visitors and Vegas natives alike, take to the street with dazzling smiles and a thirst for the kind of experiences you can’t find anywhere else in the world. In case it isn’t clear: I LOVE VEGAS!!
If you’re searching for a wedding, elopement, or engagement photographer in Las Vegas, just know I am a master at capturing the vibes and energy and beauty any time of day. But nighttime photoshoots around the strip and Fremont Street? Those are my JAM. Like, full-on, peanut-butter-and-jelly JAM. Las Vegas at night is so, so incredible and I love getting to photograph my couples after the sun goes down!
I recently got to do an awesome after-dark Las Vegas couple’s portrait session with Lucian and Brittney, who met in school and bonded over their mutual roots in Kansas City. Their photos turned out gorgeous (if I may say so myself), but if you need more reasons, here are a few great things about planning a photoshoot after dark:
We’re coming up on summertime, and we all know just how face-meltingly hot Vegas can be during the day. Waiting for the sun to go down gives us cooler temperatures and makes it so much more comfortable to boogie around the city together.
Las Vegas’s nighttime entertainment scene means people flood the streets, and on top of the opportunity to people-watch (one of my fave activities), we can also create the awesome background blur as crowds walk by and you stand still in each other’s arms. I try to get one of these photos for every city shoot I do. Scroll down to find Lucian and Brittney’s!
Evening time = evening wear! If you envision yourself getting dressed to the nines and strutting around like the fabulous kings, queens, and nonbinary monarchical figureheads you are, an after-dark photoshoot is the perfect excuse.
Once the sky goes dark, the infamous Las Vegas neon lights up the streets, drenching everything in color and energy. You came to Las Vegas for a reason, so I’m gonna make darn sure you get the full Vegas experience captured forever in your photos!
Lucian and Brittney, thank you so much for running around with me during your Las Vegas couples’s portraits! I’m so happy you chose me and the city I love so much to celebrate your marriage. Cheers to many good years!
