Las Vegas Sand Dunes Couple Session

These two are straight up goals. Michaela and Jayden have been together for a bit more than 3 years and have the sweetest love ever. You know how you meet those couples and you just know that they belong together? These two are exactly that.

Mid-panorama, I was really feeling the itch to create. I had barely been photographing anything for a few months, so I was eager to get a camera back in my hands and explore a new place. Thankfully, these two were so down for that! We decided to road trip to the Las Vegas sand dunes, which was about two hours away. We packed up some snacks and good tunes, and hit the road to this big old sand pile in the middle of the desert.

We timed this session perfectly, as we were arriving right as the sun was bathing everything in a golden glowing light. We were a bit worried that the sand would be incredibly hot since it was the middle of the summer in the desert, but it was actually perfectly temperate! We all went barefoot because it was so much easier than dealing with shoes (even my Chacos were annoying to deal with), and the gusting wind was just absolutely picture-perfect.

We enjoyed the sunset as it dipped below the horizon, these two played chase and lots of fun games up the giant sand dune, and then as the stars came out, we lit up some sparklers (with a big pail of water nearby).
