Las Vegas Elopement Party Bus Celebration

This night will go down in history as one of the wildest elopement celebrations I’ve ever photographed.

Kylie and Ben are a whole vibe. Kylie told me, “We had a very simple and unplanned engagement (which is exactly what I wanted). Basically my engagement ring was delivered to our house at 3PM and he proposed at 4PM because he couldn't wait another moment. We just went for a walk in a nearby park and that's when he asked. It was so simple and unplanned that I was completely caught off guard.”

I’m absolutely obsessed with the vibe haha.

So on Easter Monday, after Kylie and Ben had secured their places in each other’s living wills, this rowdy group gathered in the lobby of the Bellagio and started cracking open the High Noons! We loaded up onto a party bus driven by Cowboy Bobby, connected the curated Spotify playlist to the Bluetooth speakers, and it was time to party! We first headed to the Las Vegas sign to pop a bottle of champagne and grab some big group photos before driving all along the Strip, ending up on Fremont Street. We danced to the live music playing on the stages and fielded wishes of congratulations from everyone who passed by. Kylie and Ben told their friends they would meet up with them in about 10 minutes after some quick bride + groom portraits, and we immediately lost track of them after they saw people flying down Fremont Street on Slotzilla – the zip line!

Eventually we ran back into the group, who had taken notice of some of the cowboys for hire along the walk. I’ll let you scroll to see how it went. But know that it ended in a pushup contest, and you’ll never guess who won!

We popped another bottle of champagne in front of the Denny’s on Fremont Street – at which point I learned you can actually get married at said Denny’s. So this is a PSA to all couples: if you want to get hitched and eat pancakes immediately after, I’m your gal.

Kylie and Ben corralled their friends up an escalator and into the Cat’s Meow, which is actually a franchise of the famous karaoke bar in New Orleans! The fine folks at Cat’s were not just okay with having a photographer come in, but they even provided complementary Jell-O shots for the bride and groom! The first song we heard being sung as we entered was “Picture” by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, so that ended up being Kylie and Ben’s first dance song. That’s one thing I love about Vegas – no matter how much you plan, you’ll end up with plenty of surprises along the way!

There’s a certain point in any wedding night when it turns from good chaos to “no photos, please,” and I always kinda figure that once the break dancing starts, it’s time for me to hit the road! So I grabbed a few more photos and hugged the newlyweds goodbye so I could start editing their sneak peeks. But seriously y’all, I have never had more fun on a party bus EVER in my life. This group really brought it! I may be the only one who remembers every part of the night, but I guarantee it’s one I’ll never forget.
