Charming Park Engagement Session
Amanda and I met entirely by chance! We were in a facebook group together specifically for listeners of a particular podcast who were engaged or about to be engaged. (MFM, anyone?)
She found one of my older posts about being a midwest wedding photographer, and she contacted me to see if I had her date open. We hopped on the phone, where I had to break the news that I’m actually a Las Vegas-based wedding photographer, but that didn’t seem to phase her. So this west coast gal packed her bags and headed out to Wisconsin!
Thankfully, everything worked out for timing, and we were all able to meet up to do their engagement photos a few weeks later, when I already had a wedding scheduled in her home state. We woke up super early for these sunrise engagement photos, met up at Appleton Memorial Park, freezed our butts off, and had a blast in the process! Would you believe it was about 30 degrees when we did these sunrise photos? That’s the midwest in the fall for ya – SO unpredictable! But truly, I don’t think we could have picked a better time. The autumn leaves were exquisite, and even though we all lost a little sleep in the process, it was definitely worth it to be up before the sun for these engagement photos.
Wanna see how their super romantic wedding turned out? You seriously won’t believe how cute these two are.
Fall is always the first season to book up because of the amazingly colorful trees, so don’t hesitate to get on my travel calendar now! And don’t forget to always SSDGM.
