Bright and Bold Downtown Las Vegas Engagement

Downtown Fremont Street is probably one of my most favorite Las Vegas photo spots. With all of the bright lights and classic Vegas architecture, how could you blame me??

Whenever I take couples to this area, I let them know ahead of time that it’s gonna involve a lot of walking. This area of Fremont Street that’s closed to vehicles, also known as the Fremont Street Experience, is about 0.8 miles long one way, which means we do about a mile and a half of walking up and down this area. Even though I’ve photographed here dozens of times, I still manage to find something new each time!

So when a dear photographer friend of mine contacted me and asked me to do a shoot with her, I immediately contacted Justin and Elaine to model for us! These two were married in 2018 after meeting at ASU (go… devils… I think??), and I knew they would be perfect to snuggle in front of the camera for us!

We met up at the corner of Fremont and Las Vegas Boulevard to start this fun little downtown Las Vegas photo session. We danced all around the entirety of the area, and I think it’s obvious how much fun it was! Fun fact, these photos were actually made pre-panini… what a time that was hahah.

This whole area has been constructed over the past century or so, until finally resulting in the incredible downtown nightlife you see now. With the LED screens covering the near-mile-long stretch and a zipline flying all the way through, this whole area is truly an immersive experience. Day or night, this area is so much fun, and the street performers really make it special.
