Peppermint Hippo Strip Club Elopement Inspiration

OK LISTENNNNNN. This styled photography session was absolutely insane. I’m a big fan of pushing boundaries and doing what YOU want to do on your elopement day, and this shoot definitely gives that same energy. With two beautiful brides, a hella hot stripper, a super fun strip club, and a kick-ass Rolls Royce, what more could you ask for??

Having been named after the fictional strip club in the TV show “South Park,” and paying homage to another strip club called the Spearmint Rhino, this strip club is one of the newest in Las Vegas, as it just opened in April 2022. As a nationwide chain, this minty animal is making a name for itself here in Vegas.

This styled photo session was such a fun and creative way to spend an afternoon. I really love styled photo sessions because they’re great for giving inspiration to couples. Some couples think inside the box and only believe that certain things are possible, but styled photo sessions let couples dream a bit bigger!

Other ways that styled shoots can benefit a couple when planning their wedding or elopement are:

  1. Inspiration and Ideas: Styled shoots often showcase creative themes, unique decor, and innovative designs. Couples can draw inspiration from these shoots to envision and plan their own wedding or elopement. They can explore different color palettes, decor styles, attire options, and overall aesthetics that align with their preferences.

  2. Visualizing Possibilities: Styled shoots provide couples with a visual representation of how various elements come together cohesively. They can see how different floral arrangements, table setups, backdrops, or venue choices work together to create a specific ambiance or atmosphere. This helps couples in making informed decisions about their own wedding design.

  3. Vendor Recommendations: Styled shoots involve collaboration with various wedding vendors, including photographers, event planners, florists, makeup artists, and more. Couples can discover talented professionals through styled shoot credits and recommendations. This can simplify the process of finding reliable vendors who can bring their wedding vision to life.

  4. Quality Assurance: Styled shoots typically aim for high production value and attention to detail. Couples can assess the quality of work produced by photographers, florists, stylists, and other vendors involved in the shoot. This helps in ensuring that they select vendors who can deliver the level of craftsmanship and expertise they desire for their own wedding.

  5. Collaboration Opportunities: Couples can find opportunities to collaborate with vendors they admire through styled shoots. If they resonate with a specific vendor's style and aesthetic showcased in a shoot, they can reach out and discuss the possibility of working together for their own wedding or elopement.

  6. Communication Tool: Couples can use images from styled shoots as a visual reference when communicating their vision to vendors. These images can help in articulating their preferences for decor, floral arrangements, styling, or overall mood, making it easier for vendors to understand and execute their ideas effectively.

  7. Confidence Building: Styled shoots can give couples confidence in their own choices and design decisions. By seeing professionally styled setups, they can feel assured about their own wedding plans and trust that their vision will translate into a beautiful and memorable celebration.

While styled shoots provide valuable inspiration, it's important for couples to remember that these shoots are stylized and may not reflect the practicality or feasibility of certain ideas in real wedding or elopement scenarios. Adapting and customizing ideas from styled shoots to suit their specific needs and constraints is crucial for a successful wedding or elopement planning process.

But truly, with a styled shoot as spicy as this one, I can’t wait for more couples to opt for involving a strip club into their elopement.
