Downtown Las Vegas and Desert Elopement and Photo Tour | The Strip, Fremont, and the Dry Lakebed
Grace and Cam have a whirlwind romance that I honestly couldn’t believe when they first told me about it. These two had known each other for years through high school, but never really romantically connected until afterwards! Sparks flew pretty quickly after that, and next thing I knew, I had an inquiry sitting in my inbox from these two sweeties who wanted to elope in Vegas!
Grace asked me what I thought the difference between a wedding and an elopement was. Truly, both have the same goal – to get married. But elopements tend to be smaller, more intimate expressions of love that truly focus on the couple, rather than everything else that goes into a wedding. Don’t get me wrong – big weddings are amazing when you have so many people that helped you two get to where you are. But elopements are just so special. Either way, you end up married, which is really what it’s all about.
These two picked the Saturday after Thanksgiving to head to tie the knot. Grace told me that with everyone’s work schedules and the whole family living all across the country, it was a no-brainer. Vegas makes it easy to house everyone and still have a great time!
We started the day at Caesars Palace where the two got ready separately. They shared a sweet first look in a random hallway we found on an upper floor of the hotel. After walking up two flights of giant stairs (yeah, we got our workout in for the day), they were able to see each other all dressed up in their wedding attire. That’s kinda when it becomes REAL, and it’s really one of my favorite parts of every wedding day.
We hit the road shortly after to do a fun photo tour of Las Vegas. As we were leaving the dry lakebed, two young ATV riders asked us if we wanted dust for their photos. The result? COOLER THAN ANYTHING I’VE EVER SEEN. EVER.
We jetted back to the city to grab some fun photos along the strip, and before we knew it, the limo was picking us up to take us to the Chapel of the Flowers for their ceremony! I had never photographed at this particular chapel before, but it’s easily one of my favorites now because of how stunning it is inside! Thankfully, we were the last booking of the day, so the gracious coordinators let us do their family photos inside the chapel, so shout out to them!!
Afterwards, Grace and Cam changed into some of their favorite outfits for a funky photo session along Fremont Street. And holy smokes, it was too much fun. These two are really good at loving on each other, so I didn’t have to tell them to do much at all, and they just basically macked on each other for a bit. Makes my job easier! 😂 All in all, what a stunning freakin’ day. I’m so beyond lucky to have gotten to work with these two, and I can’t wait to see what their future holds.

Looking for a low-key elopement? You got it! After winning an engagement ring at an estate auction, Amy and Will eloped to Las Vegas! We romped around Seven Magic Mountains and Fremont Street around their low-key elopement ceremony at The Little White Wedding Chapel.
