Silver Oaks Chateau Wedding in St. Louis, MO
Y’all. I lost count how many times I cried during this day. SO many happy tears.
I met Mary through an amazing group of friends. We quickly became buds, and she hid her engagement for like, ever. (y’all Justin proposed in New York!!! How could you keep that a secret??) So when she inquired with this Las Vegas wedding photographer, I was totally surprised, but I knew I HAD to document her big day. Everything from their stunning venue, the phenomenal flowers (that a bridesmaid did!!!!), their rocking bridal party, and wonderful family and friends made this day simply spectacular. Also I cried a lot, but we’ll get to that later.
The two opted to do a first look to get out the nerves, but in a dress that wasn’t Mary’s big gown (which, y’all, you're gonna love so hard). And then it was time!!!!!!! So off we went to the jaw-droppingly stunning church that is St. Mary Magdalen!
So remember how I told you I was gonna cry a lot? Okay well, Mary’s father passed away a few years back, so she chose to walk down the aisle by herself in his honor, but then she had her grandfather actually give her away. So. Many. Tears.
And just like that- BOOM. MARRIED.
We did some quick and lovely photos outside of the church, and then it was time to celebrate!!! (and, of course, make more photos)
We popped over to Anheuser Busch for a quick photo, then we headed back to the reception space to party! Because Mary’s father was with us only in spirit, she instead danced with father figures in her life. Cue more tears. After we got our lives together and stopped crying, it was time to dance it up!
The world’s biggest thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to Mary and Justin for letting me spent your biggest day with you. Here’s to so many more years of joy.
Ready to make some memories together? Let’s get the ball rolling!
A huge thank you to all of the wonderful vendors!
