Neon Museum Wedding | Downtown Las Vegas Elopement
What can I even say about Chrissy and Paul – they were SO made for each other!! These two came up with their own term for their wedding ceremony, and TBH I think every couple should do this! They called it “millennial eloping,” AKA miloping. A whole vibe amiright?? And lemme just tell you right now, the laughter here was abundant. You will see SO many laughing photos because seriously, it was that much fun.
The day started at the Downtown Grand Hotel, overlooking the southern half of the downtown Las Vegas area. Elena and Jeanette from Makeup in the 702 were rocking through their beautification process (per usual), and the ladies were just hanging out, sipping champagne as we got ready to take on the day! The dresses? Stunning. The vibes? Immaculate. The entire morning was so low-key, and it really lended itself to a perfect summer Vegas elopement.
Pretty soon, it was time to get everyone dressed! Chrissy had thought of every sentimental detail, all the way down to the jewelry which she borrowed from her grandmothers – thus knocking out the “something old” and “something borrowed.”
Before we knew it, it was time for the big reveal with Chrissy and Paul! There was a beautiful little corner of the hotel that had floor-to-ceiling windows, and very few people were around, so it made the perfect spot for an intimate and private first look. We rocked through their family photos (which, can we talk about how freakin’ coordinated everyone was? amazing!), and then all of the family members were dismissed to cool off and enjoy Vegas for a bit while Chrissy, Paul, and I headed out to the desert for some photos!
Real quick, I just gotta say how much I love Las Vegas with these incredible mountain spaces. Okay, anyway!
We finished up outside and quickly got back into the car to cool off, then we drove to the Neon Museum! The Neon Museum’s North Gallery is the perfect ceremony spot because of its amazing backdrop, ample guest seating, and excellent hiding spots for the wedding party as they wait for their guests to be seated. Plus, the history that surrounds you is just wonderful.
I honestly expected more tears from the couple as they said their vows to each other, but that teary tension was quickly broken when Paul almost put the ring on Chrissy’s right hand, instead of her left! Everyone laughed so hard, thus continuing the constant laughter that could be heard all day. The two were pronounced married by their friend Maria – who was serving looks in her Elvis costume – and then it was time to party!
We jetted over to the Bellagio for a flash mob in front of the fountains, where Chrissy danced with her father, and the couple shared their first dance. Earlier in the day, Chrissy had told me that Titanic was her all-time favorite movie. I suppose the universe was listening because GUESS WHAT SONG CAME ON AT THE FOUNTAINS. Yep, you guessed it – “My Heart Will Go On.” It was absolutely kismet, and you’ll see how hard it made Chrissy laugh!
We finished dancing and headed over to El Segundo Sol at the Fashion Show Mall for dinner and more partying! The night finished with tequila shots and photos with everyone at their reception, and these two could finally call themselves husband and wife. Congrats to Chrissy and Paul, and thank you for having me at your Milopement!
