Soulful and Intimate Las Vegas Wedding at Modo Yoga Studio

There are some couples whose souls just belong to each other.

Tierney + Patrick are one of those couples.

The first time I chatted with Tierney about being her Las Vegas wedding photographer, it was like a breath of fresh air. She and Patrick had known each other for ten whole years, but only really fell for each other more recently. Patrick’s mom’s speech told of the time when Patrick called her to tell her about Tierney. Of course, she already knew who she was, but not in this new capacity. It was clear that everyone in their family saw this relationship coming from miles away, and somehow, the universe finally set things in motion, leading up to their romantic and intimate wedding day.

Tierney is the manager for the Las Vegas Modo Yoga studio, so what better place to hold such a serene wedding?

Once the finishing touches were in place, we jetted over to nearby Sunset Park for their sweet first look. It had rained all morning (in Las Vegas, somehow), but thankfully the rain let up a bit for their portraits.

I also took some time the day before to head to this park to find this cute little spot. It was completely covered by shorter palm trees, and honestly, it looked more like Hawaii than Vegas haha! But it was so private, intimate, and perfect for their first look.

After we finished family portraits, we headed back to Modo Yoga to freshen, and get freakin’ married!!!

There are little ways that couples say, “I love you,” that are completely non-verbal and completely individualistic to that couple. For Tierney and Patrick, theirs was touching foreheads and giggling. I died. Every single time.

During their vows, they chose not to pre-write what they wanted to say to each other, and instead they spoke from their hearts. It truly caused everyone to be more present and intentional with their word, which makes sense, considering their super sweet ceremony was held in a yoga studio!

This rainy Las Vegas wedding was truly one that’ll stick with me forever. Thank you, Tierney and Patrick, for choosing me to document it. It means the world to me, and you best believe I’m coming to visit when you move to Amsterdam!
