Franciscan Gardens Intimate Wedding | San Juan Capistrano Wedding

For having such an adventurous relationship, Jamie and Jeremy have a sweet, quiet kind of love.

These two originally got in touch with me in early 2020, planning their June 2020 wedding. We were about a month out from the big day and still feeling good, like it was all going to shake out as planned, but then Jamie found out that they had some family members who weren’t yet comfortable with traveling. So, these two eloped in Vegas on their original date, and we all found a date in July 2020 that seemed to work for everyone! Alas, the day came and went, and we still didn’t yet celebrate their marriage. With all of the uncertainty, these two wanted to wait until the coast was a bit more clear to get their family members to Southern California.

Finally, the moment came in October 2021. We were graced with the most beautiful day without a cloud in the sky! All of their family members safely made it to San Juan Capistrano, and we were set for a wonderful wedding day at Franciscan Gardens. We started the afternoon with them hanging out and getting ready with some of their favorite people. These two opted not to have a wedding party, so they got to have their closest friends just spend time with them with no pressure!

This wedding venue was so immaculately beautiful, and it really didn’t need much decorating. Plus, even though it was in the middle of a downtown area, it was very hidden away because of the tall shrubbery surrounding the open air courtyard. With how intimate these two kept their celebration, there wasn’t a bad seat (or a dry eye) in the house.

As with every wedding, some things are bound to go wrong. Luckily for these two, only a few tiny things went wrong. Most notably, their first dance song had some issues being streamed, so there were moments where the song stopped in the middle of their dance. However, thanks to Jeremy’s quick thinking, he started belting it as loud as he could until the song started playing again. It made everyone laugh, and it kept the silences filled! The night ended with a killer band that kept the party going, and these two danced the night away with their favorite people!

When Jamie and Jeremy got their photos back, this is what they had to say:

“These are SO beautiful! We are so happy with them! We are so happy to have everything captured in such a beautiful way. Thank you so much for working with us, we have loved working with you!!”

I’m beyond grateful to have worked with these sweeties to document their perfect day! If you’re loving these photos and ready to whisk me out to Southern California for your intimate wedding, hit that button below and let’s do this!
