Citrus Wedding Inspiration | Red Rock Country Club

So during our last styled shoot, the Tropical Wedding Inspiration you saw on the blog, we wanted to incorporate one or two citrusy elements into the shoot to keep it fun and fresh. The more we talked about it, the more we thought it would be successful as its own shoot.

And thus, our workload doubled! (I’m only slightly kidding)

But honestly, my second business, Las Vegas Styled Shoots, has been making some crazy cool stuff lately, and I’m super proud of all the work we’ve been doing over there. Because of the styled photo shoots we’ve put together, we’ve been able to not only build a community of cool Las Vegas photographers, but also, we’ve gotten to be creative with our photography work. AND we get to work with amazing new vendors. AND we get to inspire couples to push the boundaries with their own weddings.

So many wins.

This shoot required a ton of citrus, and my house smelled amazing for a week afterward. I hand-sliced roughly 100 lemons, oranges, grapefruits, and limes – and the lemons were actually plucked from the tree in my mom’s backyard!

The golden glowing Las Vegas light shone through the hanging citrus along that arch at the Red Rock Country Club, and our super sweet couple snuggled so well that you’d never even know it was 90º outside! They said they had modeled for one photo shoot before, but this time was way more fun!
