Weber House and Gardens + Silver Fox Wedding | Streator, Illinois, Wedding Celebration

I gotta say – I’m always very appreciative of couples who hire me without knowing me, but couples who I’ve known for years, who trust me to document their biggest days? I honestly don’t have words for how much they mean to me.

Sasha and Devin are one of those couples. Sasha and I met during my undergrad studies at Mizzou in 2015 or 2016, but Devin and I actually met because we lived in the same residence hall together in 2012. Now that I’m writing those years out, it feels like forever ago!

I was lucky enough to witness and document these two’s elopement last year. When Miss Rona postponed their big celebration, they found a day in October that worked for their families to head to the DC area so these two could finally be married. Having been together since 2014 and engaged since 2018, they didn’t want to wait much longer! You can check out their sweet elopement here.

So finally the day arrived where Devin and Sasha could celebrate their marriage with all of their friends and extended family, and it began at the cutest building in the smallest Illinois town. The Silver Fox was formerly a masonic temple, so it had plenty of space for big wedding parties like this one, while also lots of amazing vintage touches.

Even though these two were already married, Sasha had changed up her dress a bit since the last time she wore it. If you scroll back through their elopement photos, you’ll see that Devin had the same reaction each time. The amount of love between the two of them was overwhelming at times, but in the best possible way.

When everyone was ready to go, we headed over to a magical little spot called Weber House and Gardens. This place looked like it was plucked straight out of a fairytale and popped into rural Illinois. The owner still cares for it to this day, giving daily tours as well. There was no shortage of photo backdrop options between the different garden spaces and the Tudor cottage!

Since these two were already legally married in 2020, they chose to hold a commitment ceremony this year, including a handfasting ceremony using cords from their college graduations, which is fitting since that’s where they met!

We enjoyed the gardens a bit more before heading back to the Silver Fox to start the party. You’ll see there was no shortage of smiles and killer dance moves throughout the entire night. :)

Major congrats to these two sweethearts! I’m so thrilled you were able to finally have the dream wedding!
