Surprise Las Vegas Elopement | Leap Day Wedding
Okurr sit down y’all because it’s time to hear about the cutest dang Leap Day wedding EVER.
Lemme back up. A while back, James proposed to Jaimee in New Orleans. He hired the secret photographer and everything. It was great.
Fast forward to mid-2019, and cancer, like the little bitch it is, was a little bitch. Naturally, wedding planning was put on hold for a bit. So Jaimee, seeing how much it was tearing James down, hatched a plan.
She booked a trip to Las Vegas as a surprise for James to lift his spirits. What he didn’t know was that all of his friends and family would be there too. James had said to Jaimee that morning that he was ready for a “Vegas moment.”
The morning was filled with all the joy and happy tears in the world. But soon, it was time to get ready! Jaimee and her ladies went off to their appointments, while James and his buddies hung around Vegas all afternoon before getting him suited up. Then it was time for their first look in the grand hallway of the Venetian!
Jaimee knew that they would barely have any alone time together on their wedding day, so we snuck upstairs for a quick first dance in their hotel room.
And then it was time to head to the Little White Wedding Chapel and get married!!!!
Thanks to some crafty coordination, their friends snuck in with hand-made, one-of-a-kind, Elvis-style capes! So then we jetted off to my favorite part of Las Vegas – Fremont Street! Being a Vegas-based wedding photographer is a dream, y’all. And it’s couples like these that make it so.
Congrats, Jaimee and James! I hope the rest of your lives together is as exciting as your wedding day!
