Oh boy, what to even say about these two. Amanda and Mike deserve the entire world on a silver platter for all of the stress they went through leading up to their wedding. Like, ya know, a pandemic.

Amanda and Mike first got in touch with me in 2019, thinking I was based in Wisconsin. We hopped on a phone call where I had to break the news that I’m actually a Las Vegas based photographer, but they didn’t seem to mind! Timing lined up and next thing you know, we were #official! Then March rolled around. And, well, you can fill in the rest. But I touched base with these two and they essentially said they were getting married that day, come hell or high water! So I packed my bags and hopped on a plane to the Midwest

The morning of their wedding, my second photographer, who was traveling in from Minnesota, called and told me she fractured her ankle that morning. I promptly began calling every single photographer that I knew in the area, and most of them were actually booked. Who knew September 26, 2020, would be the busiest freakin’ wedding date??

In the end, it all worked out (and my original second was resting comfortably at home!). Amanda and Mike were straight up troopers that took everything in stride. And by the end of the day, they were officially married, which is truly all anyone can ask for!
