Las Vegas Taco Bell Chapel Elopement

I get quite a few inquiries from couples all over the country, if not the world. But when I see my hometown area code come through on an inquiry, I just HAVE to book it.

Thankfully that’s exactly what happened with these two! Alexis and Joey have that classic pandemic-couple love story. They first got together in March 2020, which is like, a great time to meet people amirite? But the thing about pandemic couples is when you know, you know. These couples spent quite a bit of time getting to know each other, so most of them would know within a few months if this was their forever person!

“We met in March of 2020 and instantly felt like we’d been together forever,” Alexis said. “We often finish each other’s sentences, and our favorite place is at each other’s side! We have been through many ups and downs and I know without a doubt he is the one I want to walk through life with.”

Alexis and Joey originally wanted to get married on their second dating anniversary of April 29, but halfway through planning their wedding, they realized how hilarious and on-brand it would be to get married at Taco Bell on 4/20. So that’s exactly what they did!

Their beautiful day started at the Palms Palace with a pretty nifty view of the Strip as the lovely team at Ruby Finch pampered Alexis. The thing I loved so much about their morning together was the fact that they were able to get ready together while still having a sweet reveal moment, like a first look! It really is the best of both worlds. The anxiety that tends to build on the most important day of your relationship just melts away when you get ready together, so I highly recommend it to all couples eloping in Las Vegas!

We hopped in their white BMW and headed down to the Taco Bell Cantina on the Strip, where we met up with their friends and family before their ceremony. Flora Pop gave them the most perfect ceremony, complete with all the cheesy puns you could ask for, and tears were sneaking out of every eye in the house! They celebrated finally being married with Baja Blast and a box of tacos before cutting their cinnamon cake, and we headed across the street for their family photos in front of the Bellagio. The NFL draft was setting up on the fountains for their event the following week, so we battled a little bit of traffic, but that’s what makes Vegas what it is!

We headed out to the desert to pop some champagne and take a few more photos with the Las Vegas mountains. Those joshua trees made for the perfect prop for their rings, and the afternoon light just made those Las Vegas red rock colors all the brighter! We snapped a few cute photos with their spicy rental car before they jetted off to meet with their family for their dinner celebration. This was the perfect day for this sweet couple, and I’m just grateful to have been a part of it!
