I stalked Alyssa on social media for, like, two months before she actually booked me. True story.

We connected through a Facebook group for wedding planning couples. She was looking for a Las Vegas engagement photographer (oh hey, I know one of those), so I asked if I could DM her my work. She said yes, and we hit it off instantly!

We followed each other on instagram and bonded over watching the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix. She told me about how she and Logan met, how they both serve in the Air Force, and how her cat Ophelia is Logan’s mortal enemy.

We booked their engagement photos for March 2020, but y’all know what happened then. Originally, Logan was going to come to town during a particular March weekend. During that time, we would knock out their engagement photos and the two were actually going to get legally married to make it easier for Logan to move to Las Vegas to be with Alyssa. Then the pandemonium happened, so we had to continuously push back.

Thankfully, Alyssa was able to go see Logan while he lived in Louisiana, and the two were able to get legally married in July! Shortly after that, the two moved in together in Las Vegas, and all was well. We scheduled their engagement photos (even though they’re already married lol), and created some straight up magic at the Seven Magic Mountains and the dry lakebed!

Alyssa and I had only met up once before, and I had never met Logan in person. But thanks to all the planning, re-planning, and social media friendship, it was like we were old friends instantly!
